Finally I'm comfortable with revealing the contents of this Super Secret Project! I'm working on creating a Tabletop Role Playing Game using the d% system!
Modern Magica is a project I've been working on since January, and I'm really excited to reveal some things about it. Using the idea of Percentages instead of the D20 System so common nowadays, MM is a much more Math Heavy game that blends the worlds of our favorite Fantasy Stories and our Modern Day Lives. Biker Gangs of Barbarians, little Wizards clutching their Composition Spellbooks, a Police Force run by Knights, and so on. The game is almost complete, with Spells being my final challenge. I figured it would be pretty interesting to post about it here and upload it. Content 8 Different Attributes Many, Many different Skills 7 Races - Dragonfolk, Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Half Elves, Halfings, Humans 7 Classes - Acrobat, Bard, Berserker, Cleric, Knight, Monk, Wizard Lots of Equipment Fleshed Out Combat Magic Lots of Spells I put a lot of love into this Project, and I'd even like to start a sort of Newsletter type system for releasing more content. There will be a series of documents I will release after Modern Magica as a way to assist the content in the 1st edition of the book. The first will be the first release of Monster Magazine, a release of different Monster Blocks I come up with. I will also have the Mercenary's Mailbox, an expansion with Equipment, Classes, Races, and more. I'll be posting here more with more information on the content. -Stella Elyzabeth

Another really long time between updates. I wanted to reveal a little more about what this project has become, and what it's shifting to and away from.
Originally, I had dreams of becoming a comic artist. I had (and still do) many plans to release a series of comics of varied kinds, originally starting with a Manga Series called Ruins & Reptilians (a joke on Dungeons & Dragons), which melded into a project called Spell Sword, which then shifted again into what is now Monster Club. But this project isn't Monster Club, nor is it a comic at all. It is, in fact, a book, but not a sequential one. I will, of course, come out with editions when new information and concepts come forth, but for now, the "Super Secret Project" is shifting from a comic to something entirely different, and in my opinion, way more fulfilling and important than Monster Club was going to be at the time. I'm making a game. -Stella It's been a while, but I figured I would update on here so that it is known.
I am switching some things about this project around!! It's still going to be set in a world where magic, game tropes, and special powers exist, but it's gonna be a lot different than originally planned. It's going slow, but I should be posting something sooner or later!! I'm consulting with a fellow artist and writer for a bunch of stuff on this project, because I want it to come out as perfect as possible! School is also slowing down a lot of my progress, but I promise it's going to happen. Even if it has to happen on my phone, it will get done. I mean, it's not that much, but I wanted to reveal a little bit more about this project of mine.
1. It takes place in a fantasy world where magic and gaming tropes exist. 2. It is VERY meta 3. I'm using MediBang Paint Pro I know that's not much but at least one of them should be a big tip off. With Love, -Stella Elyzabeth I'm not going to say much about this. There's only a few things I'm going to tell you-
1. This is based on my love of Dungeons & Dragons, Fantasy Stories, and Jojo. 2. It IS an art project, but it will be a very long and drawn out one. 3. Once it gets up and running, I'm PLANNING on it being a weekly or bi-weekly upload schedule, but idk, this stuff is tuff. 4. Patrons will get early access to the content of this Project, including Linearts and Sketches, character sheets, and potentially the Color Version a week early if possible. I don't really have much else to say, but as I get closer to revealing it, I'll make sure to let you in on more of what it entails. |
